Consequences of a College Student's Arrest
Any misdemeanor of felony accusation against a student is serious. Not only must the student go to court to defend the criminal accusation, but the student must also defend themselves against a disciplinary action at their college or university for any crime that occurred either on or off campus.
In some cases, a disciplinary action can lead to the student being required to leave the university or college in the middle of a semester which can be extremely expensive. In other cases, a disciplinary action can lead to the student being kicked out of student housing without any refund of the fees already paid.
